What is LED display? A LED Display uses an array of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) as pixels for a video display. The distance between each pixel determines the pixel pitch and pixel resolution. For example, P1.9 has a pixel density 262,144 dots/m2, whereas P10 has 10,000 dots/m2. Generally, the fine pixel pitches are for indoor applications while large pixel pitches are for outdoor.
Pixels are soldered on the PCB together with other electronics to light the LEDs properly. There is housing and mask to protect the pixels also. Next, the LED modules will be on the top of the LED panel to get a small screen which can work correctly. There are diverse LED panels even of the same pixel pitch.
Splice the LED panels into different sizes. The screen can be flat, curved, right-angled, and other creative shapes. Thanks to the direct-view technology, the LED display is seamless and scalable.
Long Life Span and Easy Maintenance
LED display has a long life span, typically 100,000 hours. That is to say, the screen can work about 11 years as 50% brightness decreasing. New LED displays are been developing every year. But classic ones are still kept well. Therefore, you do not worry that there is no new ones to maintain the screen after years. Furthermore, the LED modules are compatible at the same serials, you can update a higher pixel density screen with another pixel pitch. But there is no need to demolish the panels and installation brackets. It saves costs.
Whether front or back access, it is easy to maintain the screen. For example, if there is flaw of the screen, you can detect the problem quickly. Generally, LED fails or Hub cards. One hand, we send enough spared parts together with the screen. You can replace the broken one with the spared. The other hand, you can repair it or send to us. It is also easy to replace the broken one. For example, detach the LED module with vacuum suction in front. Then fix the new one. The inner design is tidy and neat. After detaching the modules, you can get other components fast also, such as power supply, receiver card, and cables.
