The outdoor rental LED screen is for outdoor events and stages. So, it can work in a harsh environment such as rain, sun, wind, and snow. For example, the LED screen for the event has high brightness, about 4,500nits for a clear watch in daylight. And the LED screen is waterproof IP65 for working in the rain. And the screen can work well in cold temperature when it is snowing, low to -20 Celsius degrees. We test the LED display in the aging test process, in the factory or lab. IP Code classifies and rates the degrees of protection against dust and water.
Outdoor standard IP grade is IP65 front and IP54 back. The first number is against dust and the second number is against water. For example, the first number 6 means no dust can enter while 5 means dust can not disturb the screen. The second number, 6 means the screen works well in powerful water jet while 5 means water jet.
How to get waterproof IP65 for outdoor rental LED screen
We design and use high quality material for outdoor LED display, such as outdoor LEDs, mask, silicone, and cables. Outdoor LED displays have big pixel pitch in contrast. As developing, small pixel pitches are used for outdoor applications, likewise P2.6. The small pitch LED screen is not easy to have a mask.
