Outdoor digital kiosk is easy to attract visitors with its high brightness
It is not LCD or other screen, but direct-view LED screen. Therefore, it has advantage of high brightness, wide view angle, low power consumption, etc. Moreover, the size is custom and without limit.
Because of its high brightness, it is easy to catch the eyes even in the daylight. The brightness can be from 5,000nits to 6,500nits. It depends on the LEDs, driving chips, control system, etc. It is tailored-made, not only mechanical but also electronic. P3.9 Outdoor LED Screen
The LEDs of P3.9 outdoor LED Screen is SMD1921. SMD LED screen has wide view angle, less space, less weight, and higher pixel resolution. First, solder the SMD LEDs with other electronic components such as driving ICs, capacitors, resistors, connectors, etc. on the PCB. Second, assemble them with housing and louver after inspection. Then, it is the LED module. The module size of P3.9 outdoor LED screen is 250x250mm. So the LED screen size can be multiple of 250mm. For example, the size can be 1,000×1,750mm, 1,000×2,000mm, and 750×1,500mm.

Digital Kiosk: Aluminum Frame and Steel Base
The standard kiosk has three layers. In the front it is the tempered glass while LED screen in the middle and aluminum frame in the back. This is single-sided LED screen. Double-sided LED kiosk is popular also. The aluminum frame is in the center. And the LED screen is between the frame and glass each side.
You can open the kiosk in front with hydraulic rod. Or, you can open it with hinge from left to right. There are many methods to maintain the screen.
You can have the kiosk without glass, because the LED screen is anti-strike, waterproof, and fireproof. It works well without glass if nobody destroy it on purpose. The kiosk can also be single-sided, double-sided or other custom requirement.
Waterproof and Dust-proof IP65/54
Outdoor LED Screen is waterproof and dust-proof. The front is IP65 (Ingress Protection) while the back is IP54. The first digit is for solid (dust) while the second digit is for liquid (water). The first digit 6 means no dust entering and number 5 denotes limited dust ingress but harmless deposits. The second number 5 means water jets from any direction while the number 4 denotes splashing water from any direction.
The back IP grade is lower because of there is vent for air circulation. Therefore, we add dust-proof sheet inside the kiosk close to the vent to filter the dust on the sheet. It is better that you clean the sheet after a while.
Safe and Secure
Outdoor digital kiosk is usually close to people. On the one hand, we need to protect the LED kiosk. On the other hand, we need to protect the people from power and signal. For example, glass with locks to protect the people entering in the kiosk.
